Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)

A non-invasive imaging technique used to take a series of 3D scans of the back of the eye. This allows us to visualise and track changes in individual retinal layers and assists with the diagnosis of a range of eye conditions including Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration

Meibography

A technique that uses infrared light rays to image meibomian (oil) glands in the eyelids. These glands play a crucial role in maintaining the stability of the tear film, preventing evaporation and shielding the eyes surface. If not functioning optimally, the eyes can become dry and uncomfortable.

Corneal topography

Provides detailed 3D maps of the corneas shape and curvature, aiding in detection of corneal diseases and conditions. This also allows us to custom fit contact lenses to fit the corneal surface.

Anterior segment photography

A high magnification camera assisting in the detection and tracking of anterior eye conditions.

Visual field

Used to subjectively measure the peripheral (side vision). Using our two visual field machines, we are able to comprehensively measure the sensitivity of peripheral vision both monocularly and binocularly.

Intraocular pressure measurement

We utilise multiple techniques to measure the fluid pressure within the eye. These include: Goldman Applanation Tonometry (GAT), iCare Tonometry, and Non Contact Tonometry (NCT).
