Approaching 10 years of working part-time at Nicholls optometrists, Robyn has built a strong reputation for her extensive optometric knowledge. This, coupled with her warm and empathetic nature, truly sets her apart as she effortlessly puts patients at ease and fosters a welcoming atmosphere while attending to even the most complex of visual requirements.
Robyn’s experience working in a multifaceted role at the Greenlane Clinical Centre has enabled her to develop her expertise in skilfully managing a diverse caseload including patients with acute eye care needs, paediatrics, glaucoma and retinal disorders including macular degeneration.
Working alongside Ophthalmologists, she has been able to broaden her knowledge base to cover a wide range of conditions. Robyn’s warm calming nature and extensive experience dealing with paediatric visual requirements allows her to meticulously diagnose and treat complex vision conditions in children such as amblyopia and strabismus. Having young children herself, she is aware of the impact vision has on young learners’ development and is determined to ensure every child receives the care and visual support necessary to thrive.
Outside of her optometric work, Robyn enjoys spending quality time with her young family exploring the beautiful landscapes New Zealand has to offer.
